Juicy Couture Founders Stepping Down Sales Has Dropped Drastically

Juicy founder Gela Nash said, “We stayed seven years, which is a long time.” Cofounder Pamela Skaist chimed in saying "We want to bust out and do everything.” She also said that the two have been working on a TV show, a movie and a book.

The New York Post, however, suggests a different reason to their departure: Nash-Taylor and Skaist-Levy are stepping down because Juicy Couture isn’t doing well. Major retailers like Neiman Marcus and Bloomingdale’s have cut back the floor space for the label and Juicy Couture’s sales dropped 7.8 percent in the third quarter.
