Vera Wang Used To Be An Ice Skater She Is Now Designing Customes

We all know about Vera Wang’s figure skating past and olympic dreams, well she’s keeping her dream alive by designing figure skating costumes for Evan Lysacek, one of America’s top medal hopes for the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympic Games.

Vera Wang compared a figure skating costume to an Oscar gown, saying that there is “more pressure than an Oscar dress in a strange way,” she says, because the costumes has to complement the music.
