Christian Louboutin Glass Slipper Wine Glass For Piper-Heidsieck

Christian Louboutin has turned out heels in leather and silk, but he’s adding a new
material to his portfolio: glass. For a new collaboration with champagne-maker Piper-Heidsieck, Louboutin created a glass slipper that connotes both Cinderella fantasy and
Parisian decadence. The shoe flute is packaged as part of the $500 Le Rituel gift set,
which also includes a bottle of champagne. It will only be sold in select Neiman Marcus
stores and online at www.le-rituel.com. Drinking out of a lady’s shoe is a tradition that
dates to the 1880s, when Russian counts celebrated ballerinas by drinking out of their
toe shoes.-Wall Street Journal

Ungaro Has Lindsay Working For Free

“Ungaro is not paying Lindsay to be a consultant,” a source tells Page Six. “Her team is working to get Lindsay some form of payment from the fashion house, but right now they will only give her free clothes.”

And while her designs were the laughing stock of the fashion world, it seems Ungaro was in a win-win situation. “The deal is perfect for them – they have nothing to lose, even though the clothes were not a big hit during Paris fashion week,” the insider adds. “Lindsay even paid for her flight and hotel in Paris.” -Page Six

Ungaro compensate Lindsay, she has got you publicity. Something you did not have before lol.

Manolo Blahnik made an appearance at The Soho House for the launch of his Spring/Summer 2010 Collection. He spoke about the new collection which features elegant spike-heeled stilettos on a fine, ‘zero’ sole, and pretty flat sandals.
Blahnik also told reporters about his dislike for platforms saying, “Maybe I lost money by not doing them (platforms) when they were in fashion this time but I don’t care. I did them in the 70s. That was enough for me. Never again! I don’t like them!” -Telegraph

Nicole Ritchie Launches Winter Kate

Nicole Richie
Nicole Richie will debut a new contemporary women’s line, “Winter Kate” next Spring, according to WWD. She told the site that the 37-piece set has been in the making for quite some time. Tops, vests and bed jackets make up “Winter Kate,” which draws inspiration from Nicole’s own personal retro, bohemian fashion. But the mother of two also said that she drew inspiration from some of her favorite animals and birds, so expect a lot of funky colors. Additionally, the line will include easy to slip-in dresses, tunics and kimono-sleeved maxi dresses.

The line will be sold at stores like Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, Sakes Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Intermix, and Kitson, with prices ranging from $35 wholesale for a camisole to $598 for the leather pieces. The line coordinates perfectly with her accessories line, House of Harlow 1960, which will be growing to include shoes for spring. Both collections actually target the same buyers. According to Richie, “She is a woman like me: She does not look at labels; she knows how to mix and match. The pieces can be dressed up, made casual, but most importantly, they provide the wearer a means of self-expression and fun.” -WWD

MTV The Hills Ratings Plummet

lead

According to Media Life Magazine, the audience for season 5 of The Hills, with new leading lady Kristin Cavallari, was down 40 percent compared to the prior season's debut, which starred LC.

The Season 5, Part 2 premiere netted just 2.36 million total viewers and three weeks later the number of people tuning in had slipped even further to 1.62 million. And among 18-34-year-olds, current episodes are getting less than half of the 2.3 million fans that tuned in each week two seasons ago. Aww to bad (my evil laugh). LC escaped the Titanic just in time.

Remember that plane Diane Von Furstenberg's son Alex hire to fly over Malibu that put Reggie Miller on blast for cheating with Alex’s fiance Ali?  Well now Reggie has taken out a restraining order against him:

“I will beat you down,” Alex Furstenberg threatened Miller on October 17, according to the court papers. It happened when Miller pulled up to Coogie’s Beach Café and his passenger got out of the car to pick up food. Suddenly, Alex Furstenberg pulled up next to Miller and blocked in his car. Miller managed to pull into a parking lot and then Alex Furstenberg exited his vehicle and demanded Reggie fight, “making threats of physical violence for approximately three minutes.” Several people witnessed the event.

When Miller’s companion returned to the car, Alex Furstenberg followed them, cut off their vehicle and continued to threaten him, even though Alex Furstenberg had children in the car. Former NBA baller Reggie and Ali hooked up a few months ago and Reggie says he did not know she was romantically involved with anyone else.
