Neiman Marcus President Steps Down

Burton M. Tansky, longtime president and chief executive officer of Neiman Marcus, Inc., announced Tuesday that he would step down from his position, retiring on October 6, 2010. His successor will be Karen Katz, currently the president and CEO of Neiman Marcus Stores and executive vice president of The Neiman Marcus Group. Tansky joined Neiman Marcus in 1989 and has served as its chief executive since 2001.
