Sean John Closes Its Only Boutique Due To Decline In Revenues And H&M Tells Jlo & Madonna No Borrowing Lanvin

Sean John will close its New York flagship at the end of this year. Employees at the store, located at 475 Fifth Avenue, were informed of the decision Thursday. The store, which opened in 2004 and had a lease extending through May of 2016, will close December 30, because, a Sean John spokesperson says, of "inadequate selling space." Last year when a lawsuit was filed against the store landlord, the company admitted that the store had "experienced a steady decline in revenues that continues to the present day." Sean John has it's own department in Macy's retail worldwide.

Celebs are dying to borrow the Lanvin for H&M collection. Now that the images are out and most of New York’s fashion industry’s seen the collection in person, Jennifer Lopez and Madonna asked to borrow and have been told, according to a spokesperson, “No, you can’t borrow the clothes.”
