YSL Cheif Designer Stefano Pilati Contract Renewed & YSL Co Founder Accuse Of Wanting The Fashion House To Fail To Benefit Himself

Stefano Pilati has extended his contract as the head designer at Yves Saint Laurent for another three years. After rumors circulated for two years that he would be fired (collections sales were poor). Some believe "Pierre Bergé (co founder of YSL) has no interest in seeing the YSL brand continue, the reason he keeps Pilati around. He wants Yves Saint Laurent to perform poorly. That way YSL legacy remain untouchable, observed only from afar through exhibitions, films, auctions, etc (his pockets are fatter this way).
