Armani Nominated To Fill Italian Senate

On Monday, Santo Versace sent a letter to Italian President Giorgio Napolitano nominating Armani to the Italian Senate. The president has the power to appoint certain members who are recognized for their lifetime achievements. Versace wrote, "Armani is the best candidate to receive the nominee for senator for life," and "the image of our country would've been very different without" Armani's contributions to fashion.
