Burberry has successfully wet their feet in the beauty industry with a dozen or so signature fragrances, but now they'll be diving in head first with their first line of color cosmetics, set to launch in July of 2010.
According to WWD, Burberry is planning an ambitious launch of about 100 products for eyes, lips and skin. Chairman and managing director of Inter Parfums SA, which has the Burberry beauty license,
told WWD that the new collection
"gives another dimension to the brand." -WWD
