Cesare Pacotti takes Harper's Bazaar inside his home in Italy.

Some excerpt from the interview:

Paciotti, who took over the family business with his sister, Paola, in 1980, has collaborated with other high-end Italian designers along the way: Gianni Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, and Roberto Cavalli. The collaboration that holds the most weight in his world, however, is that with his wife. He and Laura met 12 years ago on a holiday with mutual friends in Sardinia. "What I liked about her is her simplicity and sweetness," he professes about the understated schoolteacher whom he also calls the muse for his work. The couple are expecting their first child together, who will join his two older children, daughter Ludovica, 21, and son Giuseppe, 16.

I must confess, I am not really a morning person," admits Italian designer Cesare Paciotti. "I try to set up my meetings after 10:00 A.M. I like to work late at night; I have a high level of energy then." Quote from the interview read more.

Oscar De La Renta Is Not Happy With Michelle Obama Clothing Choices

Oscar de la Renta, who two years ago criticized what he said was Obama's lack of support of American fashion, is back again, questioning why she chose the McQueen gown for the occasion. “My understanding,” de la Renta told WWD, “is that the visit was to promote American-Chinese trade — American products in China and Chinese products in America. Why do you wear European clothes?”
De la Renta noted that Obama continues to have the power to boost a house's business, and added: “I’m not talking about my clothes, my business. I’m old, and I don’t need it. But there are a lot of young people, very talented people here who do."

Kenneth Cole Productions Inc. is closing its flagship store in Rockefeller Center and eight other stores this year, the company disclosed in a regulatory filing. The apparel retailer also closed eight in 2010.
The brand, which started 29 years ago, has been struggling in recent years as consumers shunned its trendy wares. Late last year, there were even rumors that namesake designer Kenneth Cole's younger brother, Neil, who runs Iconix Brand Group Inc., was eying Kenneth Cole as an acquisition target. Sarah Palin Speaks Out After Democrats And Media Accuse Her Of Murder

Palin says "We must reject the idea that every time a law is broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker ... Acts of monstrous criminality stand on their own, they begin and end with the criminals who commit them ... not with law abiding citizens who respectively excercise their first amendment rights at campaign rallies."

I'm still puzzled as to why republicans and Sarah Palin took more blame than the killer and his parents. The parents in my opinion knew their son was mentally ill (a pattern). I'm sure there were many warning signs. Majority of mental health conditions  are heridatary. The good news is 60% of americans rejected Palin did it media spin, reports CBS poll.

First Look Rachel Zoe Debuts Her Fall/Winter 2011 Collection

Rachel Zoe debuted her Fall/Winter 2011 collection to editors and buyers yesterday. She focused on filling the holes in glamour and wearability, designing ultra-tailored separates and accessories for the girl who likes to dress up. The collection prices range from $200-$800. The collection is due to hit U.S stores in July 2011.

I'm still on the fence (I wasn't even excited enough to post the lookbook). I love Rachel Zoe but for some reason the collection is not amusing me. I've seen so much of it before. The word around the fashion industry is the clothing were well tailored and cohesive but to much of herself in the collection. Some editors also said the clothes weren't very youthful. I guess thats pretty good because I've heard editors say things alot worst.
