   PR guru  Patrick McGregor had been hired as Donatella director of communications and PR for Versace, starting February 2. As vice president of PR at BCBG Max Azria for the past six years, McGregor played a significant role in the mass bandaging of Hollywood via the brand's redux of Herve Leger body-con dresses.

Donatella Versace will be honored at Glamour’s 20th annual Women of the Year Awards at Carnegie Hall next week. The magazine selected 16 honorees this time around, including Versace, Fergie (who will appear on three versions of the December cover) and Cher, who will get a lifetime achievement award.
