Elle Magazine Sold For 500 Million

 Hearst (the company that owns Harper's Bazaar and Marie Claire) is rumored to have purchased Elle Magazine this week at around $500 million, but it excludes ownership of the highly-profitable French Elle.  Meanwhile, the French traders felt the buzz last week, which drove up Hearst stock price.
