Giorgio Armani Has A New CEO And A List Of British Fashion Award Winners

 Giorgio Armani has announced the appointment of Graziano de Boni as chief executive officer of Giorgio Armani Corporation, effective January 10, 2011. He replaces Bruno Laguardia, who is leaving the company. 


The annual British Fashion Awards was last night in London and supermodel Lara Stone 
walked off with this year's Model of the Year trophy. 
British Designer of the Year: Phoebe Philo, creative director of Celine and Chloe.
The Isabella Blow Award for Fashion Creator: Nicola Formichetti, stylist to Lady Gaga, creative director of Thierry Mugler, fashion director of Vogue Hommes Japan.
British Style Award: Alexa Chung
Designer Brand Award: Mulberry
Menswear Designer Award: Patrick Grant
Emerging Talent Award for RTW and Accessories: Meadham Kirchhoff for fashion, Husam El Odeh for accessories.
Accessory Designer Award: Nicholas Kirkwood
Outstanding Achievement in Fashion Design: Alexander McQueen
Special Recognition: Naomi Campbell for contribution to the fashion industry over the last 25 years.
