The Glam Slam collection will debut during the US Open (August 2011), with two shades debuting with each competition.

While tennis fans know  Serena Williams as the most recent player to hold all four Grand Slam titles to date -- making her only the fifth woman in history to do so -- not many know that the 29 year-old is currently in school studying the art of the mani and pedi. "Everyone knows that I've always loved fashion and design, but they might not know that I'm manic about my nails. I am well on my way to receiving my nail technician license," says Williams. 

Burlington Coat Factory To Pay Fendi $10 Million For Selling Fakes

 Burlington Coat Factory company has agreed to settle a long-running legal fight with Fendi, the Italian luxury-goods maker, over the sale of counterfeit handbags, wallets, and other items, Fendi said Wednesday.

In the 1980s, Burlington allegedly sold counterfeit Fendi handbags. A 1987 injunction prohibited the company from selling anything with the Fendi trademark without Fendi's written permission. And for 15 years, Burlington Coat Factory sold no Fendi goods. But in 2002, the company begin selling counterfeits again. 

Zac Posen's Mother Will Be Stepping Down As CEO Of His Company

Designer Zac Posen’s mother, was fired will be stepping down from her role as CEO of her son’s fashion house to “pursue other interests”.“It has been nearly 10 years since Zac and I founded Zac Posen,” Susan Posen, who will continue to serve in her role as chair of the board, said yesterday by email. (He should have fired her a long time ago. Zac has an amazing fashion house but has nothing to show for it).

Susan Davidson, the CEO of Scoop NYC, a sister company of Ron Burkle’s, will take over as CEO of Zac Posen. The move comes on the heels of Yucaipa’s growing frustrations “with the lack of return on its Zac Posen investment and sought a change at the helm to steer the business in a new, more profitable direction.” Susan Posen said.

Under The Radar: Vera Wang's President Mario Grauso Divorcing His Wife And Burberry May Soon Be Bought Out By Louis Vuitton LVMH Group

According to the New York Post, Anne and Mario Grauso have called it quits after 18 years of marriage. Anne confirmed the split to Page Six and called her separation from her husband, the president of Vera Wang, "amicable." 


 Rumors have been circulating that Burberry could be the target of a takeover by luxury group, like PPR or LVMH (louis Vuitton). Cartwright (Burbery's CFO) declined to comment on the rumors, but did say: “We have a lot of growth ahead, and we’re keeping our heads down and getting on with our work. We’re delighted with the progress so far.”  Burberry CEO Angela Ahrendts is “committed to this business.”
