A luxury which is more subtle, more sophisticated — which is what we are doing.” This mode won't be hard to put into practice for a number of the Gucci group's brands, already do without much logoed merchandise,  Stella McCartney,Alexander McQueenBalenciagaYves Saint Laurent, and Bottega Veneta.

French Vogue editor in chief Carine Roitfeld and her team were absent from Balenciaga front row Thursday. Turns out they were barred from the show. “We’re blacklisted,” Roitfeld told WWD with a shrug at Nina Ricci later in the day. “It’s too bad, it’s a beautiful house and it’s French. I hope that it’s not forever.” She noted Balenciaga no longer advertises in the magazine or lends it clothes, but stopped short of giving any reason for the rift. “Ask them,” she offered. A Balenciaga spokesman declined comment.

Balenciaga filed a lawsuit against Steve Madden for allegedly copying the label's multicolor Lego heels from the fall 2007 collection. Filed on Tuesday in United States Eastern District of New York Court, the complaint states that Steve Madden "intentionally copied" the fall 2007 footwear.
Steve Madden was also sued in October by Alexander McQueen for copying its black Faithful bootie. Both of the designers have to much time on their hands, these shoes
disgust me. Who cares?
