Polo Ralph Lauren will be unveiling its store on the Boulevard Saint Germain in Paris this month. The store will be one of the company’s largest stores in the world. The store 13,000 square-foot setting will be home to a premier assortment of Ralph Lauren collections as well as the impressive restaurant “Ralph’s” the very first Ralph Lauren restaurant in Paris. His first restaurant was launched in Chicago, to make reservations or view the menu click here. I had the opportunity to have brunch at Ralph's last year and the lobster bisque and clam chowder was amazing.
The building is a hôtel original Parisian townhouse done on a grand scale. Built in the mid-1600’s, it features classical French architecture in limestone with rich carving and ornamentation, accented with wrought-iron balcony railings.

Karl Lagefeld designed a limited-edition bottle for Coca-Cola Light in France. Women’s Wear Daily reports that the ponytailed fashion force shot the new ad campaign for the global soda giant, which features two of his favorite models, Coco Rocha and Baptiste Giacobini, and also designed the soda’s white bottle, which boasts a hot pink aluminum cap and a simple black graphic of Lagerfeld’s famous silhouette. The ads will debut in France on April 28 in magazines and on billboards.

Gucci Sues Guess Claims Knockoff Designs

Gucci accused Guess Inc of imitating trademarked designs, including a green and red stripe, a repeated interlocking GG mark and stylized G mark it emblazoned on accessories like handbags, belts, gloves, watches and glasses.

The lawsuit, which was filed in Manhattan federal court and seeks unspecified monetary damages, also accused Guess of copying a dress featuring an interlocking GG diamond motif.

"Rather than going through the effort and expense of developing and creating their own unique designs, defendants have chosen to target Gucci by knowingly and slavishly replicating Gucci's world famous design elements and designations," the lawsuit said.

W Magazine New Editor Stefano Tonchi DUI Charge Dropped Takes A Plea Deal

Stefano Tonchi will start as W editor on April 12, was scheduled to go on trial yesterday in Beverly Hills for a DUI, Gawker reports. Last January, Beverly Hills police stopped Tonchi for a "routine traffic violation"; when Tonchi refused a breathalyzer test at the scene, he was arrested when he failed a battery of field sobriety tests.
Police filed a single misdemeanor DUI charge against Tonchi last February, and he was arraigned last March, but trial was delayed for over a year while the defense filed several motions to suppress evidence. Tonchi's attorney confirmed to Gawker that a plea was worked out shortly before trial was to begin yesterday morning. The DUI charge was dropped and Tonchi was allowed to plead to only the initial traffic violation, failure to stop at a limit line. Tonchi himself did not appear in court.
